Practice — Conveyancing
Conveyancing
Residential property transactions, considered.
We act on residential conveyancing for clients across Sydney, with particular attention to transactions connected to a family law settlement, an estate, or a long-held family asset.
What we do
Residential purchases
We act for buyers of residential property across Sydney, first homes, family upgrades, investment properties, and downsizes. The work covers contract review and negotiation, conducting searches, advising on special conditions, attending to settlement, and ensuring the property is registered correctly in the buyer's name.
Residential sales
We act for sellers of residential property, preparing the contract, advising on disclosure obligations, negotiating special conditions with the buyer's representatives, and attending to settlement.
Property transfers connected to family law and estate matters
Many of our conveyancing matters arise from the firm's family law and estate work, transferring the family home post-settlement, severing joint tenancy, transferring assets out of a deceased estate, and post-administration sales. Handling these transactions in-house keeps the work consistent and efficient for clients who are already engaged with the firm on the underlying matter.
How we work
Conveyancing matters are quoted on a fixed-price basis at the outset. We use PEXA for electronic settlement. Communication is direct, you will not be passed between paralegals or asked to repeat your circumstances at each stage.
