Katrene Halteh is the principal solicitor and founder of Urban Family Lawyers. With over 15 years of practice as a lawyer, her primary goal is to support and empower her clients, assisting them in what can be a tough and life changing circumstance.

Successfully using her experience in helping guide countless clients through their own separation and self-development journey, having had to navigate her own divorce and separation while managing a career and two small children at the time.

Her purpose at Urban Family Lawyers is to lead staff and clients on a journey of growth, knowledge and excellence, inspiring and helping others create a life of wellness, calm and abundance.

Katrene loves working with the local community and was awarded the business achievement in the 13th Annual St George Community Awards.

Vladimira is originally from Slovakia having completed her Masters in Law in 2008, practicing as a solicitor in Slovakia before migrating to Australia in 2010 and completing further studies in Australia before commencing her practice as an Australian solicitor.

Vladimira’s passion lies in family law but has a strong history in commercial law. Her experience and knowledge in complex commercial matters involving business structuring, sale of business, leasing, debt recovery and corporate insolvency, having worked for a top tier firm in Australia.

Her experience in property and commercial law enables her to navigate clients through complex property matters. Her no-nonsense approach enables her to find practical and realistic solutions when acting for clients in parenting matters.

When she is not busy helping clients, she loves keeping fit with yoga, boxing and running. She also loves reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Amy was admitted to the Supreme Court in 2015 following a Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. 

Amy has worked as an associate in the family law division of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (now Family Court and Federal Circuit of Australia). 

Amy has a passion for family law and wills and estate work, helping families through difficult periods in life.

She appreciates how stressful and hard separating with kids can be and has a strong passion for resolving disputes in a child focused way. 

Amy is also a mediator and has training in high conflict and is a registered New Ways for Families Coach, working with Individuals and couples, to implement strategies to deal with separation in high conflict situations.

Rose graduated from University of NSW in 2022 with a Bachelor in Criminology and Bachelor of Laws before being admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW in November 2023.

Rose is a dedicated, hard working young lawyer who joined the Urban Family Law team as a law graduate, completing her practical legal training under the guidance of our senior lawyers.

Rose enjoys family law, wills and estate work and is a highly skilled researcher. Rose’s attention to detail ensures that nothing is overlooked.

Rose loves her true crime where her analytical mind switches into gear to problem solve real life crime. Rose can also speak fluent Cantonese.

Being the first point of contact in our office, Sandra ensures that our clients are nurtured and updated on the status of their matters.  Sandra enjoys supporting our solicitors to achieve the best result possible for their clients and loves to work as a team.  Being a single parent, Sandra knows firsthand what an emotional rollercoaster the legal process can be, and she prides herself on trying to keep our clients informed and nurtured by keeping them up to date with the progression of their matter as they journey through the various legal processes.        

Sandra is client-focused, empathetic, and approachable.  She possesses over 15 years of experience in secretarial support and client relationship management.  She manages the countless details that face our solicitors.  In addition to managing the day-to-day administration tasks of our business she prepares legal documents, correspondence, billing, emails, and diary management.  

Outside of the office Sandra is known to frequent any establishment that serves high quality coffee and has a keen interest in the Russian Women’s Ice Skating team. She lives with her teenage daughter and loves to cook and appreciates the simple things we often take for granted such as a beautiful sunset.

Urban Family Lawyers acquired Anne Day’s practice in December 2021. Anne Day successfully ran the practice Anne Day and Associates in Penshurst and Oatley for over 20 years. Anne practiced law as a solicitor since 1988 and worked extensively in a number of firms. Anne has undertaken volunteer work between 1999 and 2009 at Marrickville Legal Centre in her commitment to improving access to justice and currently continues to volunteer her time and knowledge to the Centre.

Anne is taking a well earned break from practice after many years of service to her clients and the profession. Urban Family Lawyers retains Anne’s files and safe custody documents. Please reach out to us if you have any questions at [email protected]

We have two location and can meet locally if you are near the Georges River area or in the Sydney CBD.

Riverwood office: Suite 3.2, Level 3, 5-7 Littleton St, Riverwood, NSW. Free three-hour parking located in the basement or 150m from Riverwood train station.

City office: Level 21, 133 Castlereagh St, Sydney, NSW. A short walk from Town Hall or St James train station.
